The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to take on a well-maintained high-value territory worth over 1M across South West London and Surrey with a leading UK commercial lighting business.
You will inherit strong relationships existing turnover and significant opportunity to grow further through specification and project-led sales.
What you will doDevelop and deliver a strategic territory sales plan to hit and exceed annual sales targets across your 1M area.
Build strong relationships with electrical wholesalers contractors architects consultants end users and specifiers to grow market share and maximise project opportunities.
Use your technical product knowledge to provide value-engineered lighting solutions that win projects and generate repeat business.
Apply commercial acumen to optimise pricing within agreed guidelines and secure profitable orders.
Analyse wins and losses track your pipeline and provide clear monthly reports on activities results and trends.
Work closely with internal teams (quoting projects customer service product engineering) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What we’re looking forProven success in sales and business development within the electrical or lighting sector ideally through wholesale and project sales.
Strong track record of delivering business growth building a robust pipeline and exceeding KPIs.
Ability to understand technical customer requirements and translate them into the right product and system solutions.
Excellent negotiation influencing and communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders including contractors architects and consultants.
Results-driven commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously across your territory.
