Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, adhering to food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality output.

Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with company procedures and safety protocols.

* Ensure all food safety standards, including HACCP compliance, are strictly followed throughout the production process.

* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any mechanical issues or malfunctions.

* Assist with the setup, changeover, and cleaning of machinery to maintain optimal operation.

* Perform basic quality checks on products to ensure they meet specified standards.

* Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and operational parameters.

* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

* Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently.

Requirements

* Previous experience or knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP is desirable.

* Understanding of food production processes and equipment operation.

* Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for troubleshooting machinery issues.

* Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Good organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late shifts if necessary.
