Resource Manager

Job Description

Job Purpose

To coordinate site operational resources across the company. Responsible for all recruitment and use of agency labour, including ensuring the adoption of appropriate labour supply agreements as approved by the commercial team. Liaison with the Area Managers to smooth resources and to prioritise based on business need. Maximise use of internal labour, develop staff and work with HR to manage training and operational qualifications.

Step into trouble shoot operational challenges on projects and support the site teams where required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast site staff needs based on opportunity pipeline, including skills, geography and qualifications.
• Establish and actively promote working relationships between all departments, through effective communication and ensuring Company procedures are followed.
• Receive resource requirements on contracts from Area Managers and plan allocation of labour & plant.
• Work to and within the companies Integrated Management System, company policies & procedures. Ensure that projects are resourced to enable compliance with all HSE legislation and rules.
• Ensure compliance with working hours, timesheet process, expenses, use of company vans etc.
