Overview
What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the PMO Manager, the PMO Analyst is to be embedded within the change portfolio to enable the successful delivery of projects, work streams and the wider portfolio. Work collaboratively with Project Managers in the production of project products and reporting, ensuring that the relevant standards for the delivery process are met.
- Produce governance reports and M.I. to provide oversight of projects and work streams within the change portfolio, reporting to governance groups and senior management as required.
- The post holder will be expected to work across all work streams and line management boundaries to ensure effective and successful delivery of the portfolio.
- Review project templates, updating and version controlling as appropriate.
- Enable robust planning, risk management, reporting, project accounting and change control across all projects and work streams.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of working in a similar role either in a programme or PMO environment.
- Works on own initiative and communicates effectively as a team member.
- Ability to challenge delivery partners to provide assurance on their progress against delivery plans.
- Able to analyse information and present in a clear and accurate manner, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to write formal and factual reports, identifying key issues.
- Works towards tight deadlines whilst working to multiple and conflicting deadlines.
- Understands the issues facing the business in the wider context.
