This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven and commercially focused Financial Accountant to play a key role in internal financial reporting and to support operational leadership with insightful analysis. The role offers broad exposure across accounting, reporting, tax and cashflow, with opportunities to influence process improvement and act as deputy to the Financial Reporting Manager.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and will be confident working with multiple stakeholders across regions and functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
  • Production of monthly corporate reporting outputs, including month-end packs and group reporting submissions.
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entities.
  • Completion of intercompany reconciliations and confirmation processes.
  • Process ownership across areas including leases, loans, cash forecasting and standard journals.
  • Oversight and administration of bank accounts, mandates and reconciliations.
  • Management of non-AP bank transactions and expense-related postings.
  • Ownership of the expense claims process, including systems administration, staff training and policy compliance.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and support with corporation tax computations.
  • Participation in cashflow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Leading and supporting internal and external audits.
  • Continuous review and improvement of finance processes in collaboration with the wider finance team.
  • Acting as deputy to the Team Lead for Accounting & Financial Reporting when required.
What you need:
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge through to trial balance.
  • Qualified ACA OR ACCA
  • Advanced VAT knowledge and experience working with multiple currencies.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, balance sheet control and reconciliations.
  • Confidence working in a fast-moving, international environment.
  • Strong systems capability, with experience using ERP systems and advanced Excel.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
