Overview
Mechanical Service Engineer
Location : Crawley area
Salary : £40,000-£47,000 per annum
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain rotating equipment and auxiliary plant
- Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and prepare technical reports
- Assist with planned projects, outages, and workshop activities
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and alignment equipment
- Manage schedules efficiently and work independently or in a team
- Be available for callouts and occasional overnight stays
- Mechanical qualification (ONC, HNC, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in fault finding, repair, installation, and commissioning
- Knowledge of heavy engineering sectors, ideally Aggregates
- OEM pump or turbine experience desirable
- Full driving licence required
- Strong technical, communication, and customer service skills
- Salary £40,000-£47,000 DOE
- Travel and overnight allowances

- Pension, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, uncapped overtime
