Salary: £40,000-£47,000 per annum

A leading provider of engineering services to heavy industry is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer ideally with Aggregate experience.  The role involves travelling to client sites to perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and fault-finding on rotating equipment, turbines, pumps, and BOP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain rotating equipment and auxiliary plant

Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and prepare technical reports

Assist with planned projects, outages, and workshop activities

Use measuring tools such as micrometers and alignment equipment

Manage schedules efficiently and work independently or in a team

Be available for callouts and occasional overnight stays

Skills & Experience:

Mechanical qualification (ONC, HNC, NVQ, or equivalent)

Proven experience in fault finding, repair, installation, and commissioning

Knowledge of heavy engineering sectors, ideally Aggregates

OEM pump or turbine experience desirable

Full driving licence required

Strong technical, communication, and customer service skills
