About the Role
A leading clean‑energy technology company is expanding and seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive process excellence across high‑value, next‑generation energy products. This is a chance to influence manufacturing strategies in an innovative environment where world‑class engineering directly supports global sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead manufacturing process development and optimisation initiatives
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and product quality
- Use analytical tools such as value stream mapping and cycle time analysis
- Support technology transfer activities including FAT, documentation, training and partner engagement
- Apply SPC techniques (control charts, Cp/Cpk, gauge R&R) and conduct risk assessments (PFMEA, DFM/A, DRBFM)
- Provide technical leadership and coach others in structured problem‑solving
- Advise on long‑term manufacturing strategies and best practices
- Degree in Chemical, Process, Manufacturing or similar engineering discipline
- Strong experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment
- Practical expertise in at least one relevant industrial process, e.g.:
- Heat treatment
- Deposition techniques (e.g. screen printing)
- Laser ablation or welding
- Ceramics processing
- Good understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and SPC tools
- Clear communicator with a mindset for innovation and mentoring
- Eligible to work on‑site (no hybrid/remote options for this position)
- Experience in high‑tech, energy, materials, automotive, defence or electronics manufacturing
- Prior involvement in scaling new processes or technology transfer
- Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt)
- Experience with sustainability or cost‑reduction programmes
