Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

A leading clean‑energy technology company is expanding and seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive process excellence across high‑value, next‑generation energy products. • Lead manufacturing process development and optimisation initiatives
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and product quality
• Use analytical tools such as value stream mapping and cycle time analysis
• Support technology transfer activities including FAT, documentation, training and partner engagement
• Apply SPC techniques (control charts, Cp/Cpk, gauge R&R) and conduct risk assessments (PFMEA, DFM/A, DRBFM)
• Provide technical leadership and coach others in structured problem‑solving
• Advise on long‑term manufacturing strategies and best practices

• Degree in Chemical, Process, Manufacturing or similar engineering discipline
• Strong experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment
• Practical expertise in at least one relevant industrial process, e.g.:
• Heat treatment
• Deposition techniques (e.g. screen printing)
• Laser ablation or welding
• Ceramics processing
• Good understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and SPC tools
• Clear communicator with a mindset for innovation and mentoring
• Eligible to work on‑site (no hybrid/remote options for this position)

• Experience in high‑tech, energy, materials, automotive, defence or electronics manufacturing
• Prior involvement in scaling new processes or technology transfer
• Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt)
• Experience with sustainability or cost‑reduction programmes
