Key Responsibilities
- Delivery: Teach pre-planned lessons with energy and enthusiasm.
- Adaptability: Tailor your approach on the fly to meet the diverse needs of your pupils.
- Collaboration: Partner effectively with classroom Teaching Assistants to maximise student support.
- Resourcefulness: Think on your feet! Be ready to lead the class if work isn't set or needs adjusting.
- Feedback: Ensure all work is marked in a timely manner with clear, constructive feedback for the regular teacher.
- Environment: Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and a positive, safe learning atmosphere.
- Qualifications: A relevant degree and teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
- Status:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but we warmly welcome applications from NQTs/ECTs
. - Experience: Proven experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
- Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
- Attitude: A commitment to the role and a positive, "can-do" approach to every school day.
