The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our Business & Computing Faculty. The successful applicant will be expected to teach two subjects from the following:
Business Studies, Economics, Computer Science, or IT, across Year 7 to Year 13.

Our faculty offers a broad and exciting curriculum, including GCSE and A-Level Business Studies, BTEC Business, A-Level Economics, GCSE and A-Level Computer Science, and GCSE Digital Information Technology. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons in two of these areas, inspiring students and fostering a genuine love for your subject.

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking, collaborative, and supportive department that values innovation in teaching and is committed to student success. We work hard as a team, maintain a great sense of humour, and promote a healthy work‑life balance. We’re looking for a team player who will contribute to shaping the next phase of our journey to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to students in Years 7-13, adhering to the national curriculum and GCSE/A-Level Specifications.
  • Inspire students to engage deeply with Business Studies or Computing.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their personal and academic goals.
  • Foster a classroom environment based on mutual respect, inclusivity, and a love of learning.
  • Participate in departmental and whole‑school initiatives to promote literacy and student development.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities or pastoral support.

The Holy Trinity School is a Church of England (voluntary aided) School, West Sussex County Council.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge of two of the following subjects:
    Business, Economics, Computing or IT, with the ability to teach up to GCSE level and A-level.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to student progress and achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding and appreciation of the school’s Christian ethos and values.
