Teaching Assistant | Special Needs Education | SEMH & ASC Focus Role Summary

This is a term-time-only Teaching Assistant position for 36 hours per week, focused on supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

As a Teaching Assistant, your primary duties will include:

• Providing direct support to pupils, both individually and in small groups.

• Working with teachers to implement lesson plans and educational activities.

• Monitoring student progress and assisting with assessment records.

• Maintaining a positive and organised learning environment.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• GCSEs in Maths and English or an equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience working with children.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• A calm, reassuring, and responsive demeanor.
