The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity to lead cost planning and commercial management on a range of exciting projects across London and the South East.
Senior Quantity Surveyor– Key Responsibilities
- Lead full pre- and post‑contract cost management services across complex schemes
- Prepare detailed cost plans, manage procurement processes, and advise on tender strategies
- Oversee contract administration under JCT and NEC forms
- Guide junior Quantity Surveyors and support APC candidates
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Support the commercial lead in managing budgets, reporting, and financial forecasting
- 5+ years of experience in a consultancy or client‑side environment
- MRICS or working towards chartership
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts (Essential)
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and mentoring junior staff
- Professional, confident, and client‑focused
- Experience across sectors such as aviation, infrastructure or big utilities
- Salary between £60,000 – £70,000
- Clear pathway to Associate level
