Nursery Room Leader – Full-Time, Ongoing Work

Pay: £15–£18 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications)

We are currently recruiting experienced Nursery Room Leaders to manage and support nursery rooms across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner looking to lead a team, drive high-quality early years provision, and make a real difference in children’s development.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing a nursery room in line with EYFS standards

Supporting, mentoring, and supervising staff

Planning and delivering high-quality learning activities

Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment

Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory compliance

Monitoring children’s progress and reporting to management

Requirements:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher)

Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early years setting

Knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements

Strong organisational and team management skills

Clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to work in the UK
