Position: Business Development Manager – IoT Communications.
Location: Remote - Full-Time Permanent.

We are looking for someone who excels at outbound business development and customer engagement. A significant part of this role involves proactive outreach - prospecting new business opportunities and, identifying expansion opportunities within our existing customer base, maintaining strong relationships with current accounts. You'll drive new pipeline and revenue opportunities through these activities and sustained relationship-building. Opportunities often develop over extended conversations rather than immediate commitments.
The successful candidate will build a genuine competitive advantage for the company through persistence and consultative engagement.

AboutThe Role - What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for IoT connectivity solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across sectors such as smart cities, industrial automation, connected medical, connected vehicles, and telecoms.
- Lead sales negotiations, proposals, and contracts with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align our offerings with market needs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
- Represent Solsta at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
- What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within IoT, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of IoT connectivity technologies (4G/5G Cellular, LoRaWAN, M2M, Industrial IT & Communications).
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex B2B deals.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
- Desirable: experience with IoT security, edge computing, cloud IoT platforms, or regulatory requirements for global IoT deployments.
