Activity Assistant (CNA) Opportunity at Ben Hur Health & Rehab
Full-time Day Shift
The Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
- Provide a supportive presence, connecting with residents and understanding their emotional and social needs.
- Collaborate with the care team to support residents holistically and uphold excellent care standards.
- Manage daily schedules, activity prep, and coordination for multiple residents.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values:
Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence. - High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successful completion of a State-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State. This training can be provided by the community.
