Purchases and expedites parts; and ensures customer service.

• Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
• Responsible for entering purchase orders, faxing, coordinating delivery and follow-up such orders with appropriate vendors.
• Minimal customer service duties - fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Familiar with MRP, MPS, Supply chain, inventory management, JIT/KANBAN processes and procedures.
• Responsible for parts inventory and min/max re-ordering levels.

• Must be able to measure using the metric system
• Basic math skills are needed to include addition, subtraction, and fractions
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
• The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands or arms
• The duties of this position are carried out in a typical office environment, although exposure to manufacturing areas may frequently be required
• The noise level in the work environment is normally low

Pay Range: $23.20 per hour
