Forklift Operator – South Plant (Crawfordsville, IN)

Starting Pay: $21.39–$26.75 per hour, plus a 7% shift premium for second and third shifts

What You’ll Do

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping our production moving smoothly by safely and efficiently transporting materials throughout the facility.
Your responsibilities will include:

Operating forklifts to move materials and products.

Maintaining accurate inventory using our materials management system (COMN).

Organizing and managing warehouse storage areas.

Loading and unloading trucks as needed.

Performing daily safety inspections on equipment.

Replacing forklift batteries and propane tanks.

Collaborating with your team and cross‑training in various areas.

Participating in training to support your career growth.

  • Must be able to obtain LSC Communications hoist license by attending class and meeting requirements.
  • Able to communicate well with operators and crews.
  • Must be personally committed to concepts of high employee involvement, continuous improvement, and diversity.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 20–50 pounds

Ability to remain seated for the duration of the shift

Qualifications

Previous forklift experience preferred

Basic math and computer skills
