Pro Resources is recruiting for a full-time, direct-hire Production Manager position for a manufacturing company located in Crawfordsville, IN. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing fabrication and welding operations, production scheduling, quality, safety, and workflow management. The position requires strong technical experience in fabrication and welding, along with proven leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, plus overtime as needed

Employment Type:

Direct Hire (full time)

• Lead and actively participate in the fabrication and welding of steel products.
• Prepare, position, align, fit, and weld parts to specification.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as plasma tables, shears, press brakes, roll formers, automated seam welders, and hand tools.
• Monitor and maintain safety standards, PPE compliance, and a clean work environment.
• Ensure quality control, perform final inspections, and reduce rework.
• Assign daily work, manage staffing levels, and balance workflow to meet production goals.
• Maintain proper inventory levels for standard and custom products.
• Support equipment maintenance and complete required documentation and inspection logs.
• Communicate production, equipment, or staffing issues to leadership promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, safety, and cost control.

• 7+ years of welding experience.
• 7+ years of fabrication experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety focus.
• Machine operation and material‑handling experience.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
