Job Description
8:00M-5:00PM $20.00 M-F possibly OT on Saturday or Sunday.
Pro Resources is looking to hire a Production Coordinator for a company in Crawfordsville, IN. This company ties to the strapping industry dating back to the late 1960’s.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze sales orders for capacity and materials planning
- Enter and manage manufacturing orders
- Monitor inventory, shipments, and consignment stock
- Make inventory adjustments (downgrades, scrap, rework, etc.)
- Create production schedules and assign coils to jobs
- Update production board and verify completed orders
- Handle new sales orders and shipped order records
- Analyze inventory data using Excel
- Fill in for switchboard and shipping/receiving as needed
- Support ISO, inventory, plant goals, and assist other departments
- Learn the Agility platform to make orders, close orders and make corrections to tags on the order
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and data analysis
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with office equipment and basic math tools
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Previous experience in Shipping/Receiving (bills of lading) is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- 2+ years in manufacturing, especially in scheduling
- Requires walking, talking, sitting, and using hands
- Occasional climbing or balancing may be needed
- Vision requirements include close and distance focus
- Typical manufacturing office environment; accommodations available
