OverviewWe are looking for a Certified Home Health Aid (HHA) to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide compassionate care to children and adults in their homes, working collaboratively with other HHA professionals to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic care and assistance to patients including help with daily living activities and medication reminders.
- Document patient care accurately using Aveanna’s tablet system for electronic records.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements, including health‑related mandates such as vaccinations and testing.
- Work flexible schedules: full‑time, part‑time, or PRN; shift across days, nights, weekends as needed.
- Help maintain a supportive environment for patients, fostering trust and respect.
- Must hold an active, unencumbered HHA license in the state of practice.
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
- Current CPR certification (hands‑on component) – Aveanna can assist in obtaining this after hire if necessary.
- TB skin test performed within the last 12 months.
- Six months prior hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) available.

- Tablet in each patient’s home for electronic documentation.
