OverviewThe Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Site Superintendent. We are looking for someone to help with the day‑to‑day issues that pop up but also to be part of the big picture and contribute to the long‑term strategy of our operations across the country. Superintendent
Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledge of pipe fitting, welding and fabrication
- Structural fabrication and mechanical experience
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to General Foreman and Foreman
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear and procedures
- Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- Regularly reporting project status to area manager, also visiting with customers weekly
- Daily submission of required documentation; i.e. JHA’s, Supervisors Daily Reports, Incident Reports, etc.

Experience and Requirements- 8 years of managerial experience
- Experience in steel mills or similar industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software
- OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
