Pet Care Specialist – Professional Pet Sitter​/Dog Walker

Overview

Furry Fellas is hiring for 2 Part Time to Full Time pet care specialists
. Location coverage includes Warwick, Cranston, Providence (candidates may cover all or some towns). Roles start Part Time with potential to move to Full Time or remain Part Time.

Availability during at least 2 of our 4 time frames. Time frames:
Morning 7-10am, Afternoon 11am-3pm, Evening 4-6pm, Night 7-9pm.

Note:

the most consistent jobs occur during the 10am-3:30pm hours.

• Pet care, dog walking, pet sitting

• Get paid to exercise & spend your time outdoors with dogs or indoors with cats/other small animals
• Flexible schedule. You make your schedule. Availability should be communicated in advance and updated as changes are known. Once committed to pet sitting assignments, keep those commitments.
• Work from your home base / take your dog to work (on applicable assignments)
• Continuing education & Certificate programs (2-3 Paid Certifications Programs Available depending on amount of hours available)

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walk and exercise dogs, provide bathroom breaks, love & attention; may include feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, litter boxes, etc.
• Leave a note for clients after each visit with details on how visits went

Hourly ($16-$18 depending on experience) plus mileage tips, or per-visit pay option

• Experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experience with cats/other small animals
• Own transportation, smartphone, daily internet access
• Ability to pass background check
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently
• Desire to learn and be part of a larger team dedicated to high-quality pet care
