Job description
We are looking for a detail oriented individual to join our fast paced manufacturing team in Cranston. This position would be responsible for overseeing production in our Kettle Room and working alongside the operators in the area.
Tasks that this position would be responsible for:- Overseeing daily production to ensure manufacturing targets are met
- Ensuring employees are adhering to safety, quality, and company policies while manufacturing and packaging products
- Providing training for employees
- Optimizing workflows using tools like 5S and lean principles
- Verifying inventory in the area is correct
- Assisting the Manufacturing Manager in writing reviews
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience working with chemicals
- Strong math skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Positive leader with strong interpersonal skills
- Quality and safety minded
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player that is willing to get their hands dirty
- Good problem solver
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
