Direct Support Professional I - HBTS at Seven Hills Foundation

Pay: $24.00/hour

Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) workers provide specialized intensive direct support services for children with a wide range of disabilities living king collaboratively with licensed health care professionals and family members, services are delivered in the home and community to develop social skills, communication, and positive behavior.

Great opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in CNA, DSP, childcare, daycare, and residential counseling, including college students, stay‑at‑home parents, paraprofessionals, teachers, and experienced professionals.

• Provide direct behavioral therapy to children ages 3-21, including role modeling and training for parents and families.
• Support the child and family by promoting individualized, person-centered service delivery that meets all identified needs.
• Assist the child with self-help and self-care, and teach social and safety skills when applicable.
• Maintain ongoing communication and data reporting to clinicians and coordinators regarding the approved program.
• Adapt duties to the specific needs of each child.

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of experience with children/adults in a special healthcare, education, or recreation setting, or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field.
• Driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required.
