Support Learners on Their Journey to IndependenceWe are seeking Teaching Assistants for a specialist secondary provision supporting young people with complex needs as they prepare for adult life.
This role offers excellent training, strong team support, and clear long-term career pathways.
Responsibilities- Supporting classroom learning and therapy-based activities
- Helping students develop communication and life skills
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
- Working collaboratively with teaching and support teams
- Funded apprenticeship qualification
- Ongoing practical and theoretical training
- Behaviour support training included
- Progression to Senior TA and HLTA roles
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Confident supporting complex behaviours
- Willingness to support personal care needs
- £20,225 – £21,037 (pro rata, term-time only)
- Progression to £21,851+ following qualification
- £1,000 retention bonus
- Health and wellbeing support
