SEN Teaching Assistant – (Horsham, Surrey)

We’re looking for a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional specialist school near Horsham, Surrey. This is your chance to be part of a team that genuinely changes lives—helping students grow in confidence, independence, and happiness every single day.

Location : Near Horsham, Surrey

Hours : Full-time – Monday to Thursday (08 : 30–16 : 00), Friday (08 : 30–15 : 45)

Pay : £13.50–£14.50 per hour

Contract : Long-term / Temp-to-Perm

Driving licence : Required (rural setting)

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be the steady, compassionate presence that students can rely on. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff, you’ll help create a safe and inspiring space where every learner can flourish.

• Support children and young people with complex mental health or learning needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and self-esteem through empathy and consistency.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support during lessons and activities.
• Celebrate progress—big or small—and help students reach their personal goals.
