Position at Union Community College, Cranford, Elizabeth, Plainfield. Full-time, Part-time, Adjunct. Campus-based or online teaching of day courses.

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with the catalog description and approved syllabus.
• Use interactive approaches, technology, and instructional methods to engage students.
• Incorporate diverse lifestyles, cultural perspectives, and the library into courses.
• Maintain accurate grade and attendance records; submit required reports.
• Submit grades per deadline and participate in assessment of learning outcomes.
• Plan in advance to ensure availability of supplies, textbooks, and classroom equipment.
• Adhere to College policies and procedures; advise Dean of absences in a timely manner.

• Master’s Degree in economics or related discipline.
• Teaching experience at the community college level.
• Certification or license as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates; willingness to use alternative delivery systems.
• Commitment to incorporation of library, computers, writing, and culturally diverse perspective.
• Knowledge of competency‑based education and use of information technology.
• Commitment to continual assessment, professional growth, and development.

Typical interior work environment. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Non‑hazardous exposure. Some travel required.

Part‑time. Employee must establish primary residency in New Jersey within one year of appointment unless an exemption applies.
