Recovery Driver – Westbourne Motors
We are looking for a licensed, motivated driver to join our vehicle recovery team. The position is home‑based, meaning you will work directly from a dedicated recovery vehicle equipped with specialist tools.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to breakdowns and recover cars and goods in all weather conditions.
- Operate safely and efficiently outdoors, often in difficult environments.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support during recovery operations.
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in excellent working order.
- Record and report all recovery activities accurately.
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of three years.
- Valid C1E, Class 1 or Class 2 licence, DCPC and tachocard.
- Successful completion of a DBS check and enhanced police vetting.
We offer a range of shift patterns to suit different lifestyles, including:
- Monday‑Friday (standard hours)
- Monday‑Friday with alternate weekends
- "4 on 2 off" and "4 on 4 off" patterns – discussed during interview.
Example shift hours:
- 07:00 – 19:00 (Early)
- 10:00 – 22:00 (Middle)
- 14:00 – 02:00 (Late)
Basic salary starts at £32,000, varying by licence category and working pattern. You can earn up to an additional £9,000 per annum through overtime and bonus schemes.
