Private Client Tax Manager

Overview

Private Client Tax Manager role for a well established Accountancy practice in Cranbrook.

• Manage a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients, and provide ad hoc planning and advisory support to the Directors.
• Prepare trust accounts, trust self assessment tax returns, and R185s; prepare IHT returns, estate tax returns, and personal tax returns.
• Engage in ad hoc planning and advisory work which is diverse, interesting, and challenging.

• Hold an accountancy or tax qualification such as CTA or ACA.
• Be either already at senior level and seeking a route to manager level and beyond, or a manager looking for the next step, with a commitment to learning and growth.
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex areas of tax to clients in straightforward language without jargon.
• Flexible and a team player; capable of handling your own portfolio of complex clients, undertaking both compliance and consulting work, and assisting others as required.
