Electrical Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, seeks an experienced Electrical Facilities Technician to join their team. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems across the facility, ensuring safety compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, covering lighting, lifts, HVAC, and power distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on facility infrastructure, including lighting, lifts, power distribution, and wiring.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to guarantee safe and efficient facility operation.
• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and enhance reliability.
• Ensure all electrical systems meet current regulations and health & safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and electrical inspections.

Requirements

• Qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
• Proven experience in electrical facilities maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
