Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Creation and amendment of CNC Programs and tool data.
- Contributing to feasibility reviews.
- Analyzing existing processes and evaluating potential improvements.
- Liaise with external tooling companies to identify cost savings and tooling improvements.
- Lead Engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Assist and advise shop floor personnel on setting activities.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the business.
- Good knowledge of CNC turning and milling processes. – (Essential)
- Experience in CNC Programming (Fanuc controls, turning and milling) (Essential)
- Experience in VMC (Essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively
- PC literate – Microsoft word, excel etc.
- Willingness to take on new tasks as and when required
