Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting and improving production processes across the site.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating, modifying and optimising CNC programmes and tooling data to improve efficiency.
- Supporting feasibility studies and contributing engineering input during production planning.
- Reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement in quality, cost and delivery.
- Working closely with external tooling suppliers to identify cost‑saving and performance improvements.
- Leading engineering tasks and projects from concept through to implementation.
- Providing hands‑on technical support to production teams during set‑ups and live manufacturing.
- Undertaking additional engineering duties as required to support operational goals.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be expected to apply practical problem‑solving skills and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Skills & ExperienceTo succeed in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will ideally have:
- Experience with CNC turning and milling, including CNC programming (Fanuc experience advantageous).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
