About The Role
Please be aware this role is for weekends only, and 10 hours per weekend.

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement the kinds of activities that will delight Residents.
  • Help the Home Manager to organise essential fundraising events.
  • Engage Residents to socialise more effectively, explore activity ideas based on their hobbies, and involve the wider care home team with kindness at the core.
Safeguarding & Compliance

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You will have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Background working with vulnerable individuals; experience developing activity programmes is preferred.
  • Strong planning, organisational and IT skills; ability to manage time effectively.
  • Clear, kind communication with Residents and co-workers.
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship or time-limited visa).
