Analytical Chemist – Analytical Services

Hours: 37.5 Mon – Fri. Flexible working.
Location: Craigavon

Almac Sciences is recruiting talented Analytical Chemists to join our Analytical Services team. The post holder will develop and phase‑appropriate validate analytical methods for external clients, supporting release testing and stability studies for Reference Standards, APIs, and drug products. The team employs techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, IC, residual solvent analysis by GC, water content by KF coulometry, titration or stomboil oven, dissolution, disintegration, hardness, water activity, and content uniformity.

Working as part of a multi‑disciplinary project team, the candidate will plan meticulously, execute work safely, and document methods and results accurately within a fast‑paced, rapidly growing organization.

• Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in an analytical/chemistry related discipline (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an academic qualification).
• Theoretical knowledge of multiple laboratory techniques.
• Relevant laboratory experience.

• Previous relevant industrial experience in a GMP/GLP environment.
• Postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in chemistry or a closely related discipline.
