Day Shift Manager Leprino is seeking to appoint a Day Shift Manager on a permanent basis. The role is based at the Magheralin site working within the Department Name department. You will deliver on departmental objectives and proactively work with your colleagues, assuming collective responsibility, for shaping and leading the delivery of the department plans in order to support the company's vision to be "The World Best Dairy Food and Ingredient Company" Why Leprino?

Essential: A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent (grade C or above) including Maths, English Training in Supervisory Management. Shift supervision and people management in a production or manufacturing environment. Able to demonstrate knowledge of how safe working practices are applied in the production environment Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including;
Outlook, Excel and Word Ability to analyse and manipulate data and provide meaningful information Organisational Skills Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities, as anything missed may cause a customer shortfall

Experience of delivering against plan. Excellent communication skills Ability to utilise resources effectively Able to display initiative and apply problem solving skills Strong organisation and planning skills with ability to prioritise effectively Desirable:
Formal 3rd Level qualification or accredited training in any of the following:
Food Science / Technology field Food Manufacturing ILM level 3 in Leadership IOSH / NEBOSH Safe Systems of Work HACCP Food Safety Lean Manufacturing Practices Problem Solving

Experience with in a food / dairy production environment An understanding of sustainability issues, and a passion for the mission, vision and values of Leprino Foods.
