Permanent – Remote (UK) with occasional travel to London
£75,000 – £105,000 + bonus + benefits

Are you an experienced Lead Analytics Consultant with a strong background in data engineering, business intelligence and cloud-based analytics solutions?
This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions for major UK organisations. The position combines hands‑on technical expertise with client advisory and project leadership, supporting the design and delivery of scalable, cloud‑based analytics platforms.
This opportunity is well suited to a consulting professional who enjoys translating complex business requirements into data‑driven solutions while leading teams and delivering high‑quality analytics projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advisory support to clients on advanced analytics and data engineering best practices
- Lead analytics engagements from requirements gathering through to solution design and implementation
- Design and deliver cloud‑based data engineering and business intelligence solutions
- Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools
- Lead data modelling, transformation, and ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Design scalable data architectures and analytics platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned to business objectives
- Support and guide team members while ensuring successful project delivery
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering cloud‑based data engineering and analytics solutions
- Extensive experience in a client‑facing consulting role, ideally within a consultancy or systems integrator
- Proven track record of leading teams or delivering analytics projects
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python and SQL
- Experience with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with modern data platforms including Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks
- Expertise in data visualisation and analytics tools such as Power BI, Qlik View or Tableau
- Strong experience in data modelling, transformation, ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing
- Awareness or experience with Big Data, Data Science, AI or Machine Learning technologies
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills
- Applicants must hold active Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it
- Remote‑first role with occasional travel to London
