Accounts Administrator

Downey Osborne is partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator on a 9 months FTC. This role plays a key part in supporting the finance team, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with reconciliations and month-end processes. Competitive salary Chance of permanency On-site parking Generous annual leave Flexible working options Pension contribution Access to technology purchase schemes About You Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Able to work independently and collaboratively About Your Role Always Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately Support accounts payable and receivable activities Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with reconciliations and month-end processes Liaise with internal teams and suppliers as required Often Support improvements to finance processes and reporting Provide assistance to colleagues across the finance team Produce ad-hoc reports or financial summaries Occasionally Assist with other accounting or administrative tasks as required Contribute to system or process updates Never Allow errors in financial records or reports Fight a gorilla to secure invoice approvals.
