Junior Structural Engineer

AP Valletta is seeking passionate and highly motivated Structural Engineers to join our multidisciplinary team in Malta. This is an ideal role for an early-career professional or a recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience across the entire project lifecycle—from initial concept to final site inspection.

You will work within a team of seasoned professionals on projects of varying complexity, developing your talent in a fast‑paced, design‑driven environment.

You will contribute to all design stages, taking on increasing responsibility as you grow:

• Project Lifecycle: Support projects through concept design, tender packaging, and construction documentation.

• Technical Documentation: Produce preliminary structural assessments, detailed layouts, and calculations.

• Site Support: Assist with site inspections and project administration to ensure design compliance.

• Tender Packages: Help prepare technical drawings, Bills of Quantities (BoQ), and detailed specifications.

  Work closely with Partners and senior engineers to translate architectural visions into structural solutions.

We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and possess a strong foundational knowledge:

• Education: A professional degree in Structural Engineering

• Standards: Familiarity or a sound understanding of the Eurocode suite
  .

• Software Toolkit:
  * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with
    Structural Analysis Software
    .

  • Knowledge of Revit is a significant asset.

• Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Maltese or other languages is an asset.
