This renowned contractor is expanding its team and is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Design Manager to lead from concept through to fabrication and installation.

• Prestigious, large-scale projects Competing with major UK contractors across residential, commercial, industrial and multi-use developments.
• True design & build exposure Develop Stage 3 concepts through to Stage 7 delivery, with modular plant rooms and skids built in-house.
• Offsite innovation Identify modular opportunities, produce workshop-ready drawings (fabCAD), and work closely with production.
• Fewer projects, greater focus Quality over chaos. Youll lead DTMs, coordinate buildability and mentor engineers without spinning 12 plates at once.
• Real-world involvement Monthly site visits to review installations and ensure whats built matches the intent.

Youll need 5+ years in a senior M&E design role, strong technical capability (schematics, calculations, specifications), and the confidence to lead and refine processes.
