Hourly: $15.16
The Moffat County High School is looking for a responsible, team oriented, and ready to learn student that wants to be a part of the Auditorium Technician team.
Responsibilities- Fix Auditorium lights and sound issues (supplies and equipment remain the expense of the school)
- Oversee disposal of outdated or unusable equipment
- Make recommendations for equipment and facility upgrades or repair; formulate a written five year proposal for purchasing and upgrades
- Help oversee purchase of new equipment
- Install new equipment and assist student techs in learning operation of equipment (Training schedule will be required for this.)
- Oversee lights and sound operations for school musical and spring play
- Assist student techs in troubleshooting equipment
- Assistance with community concerts will be paid separately by the sponsoring organizations
- Graduation sound and setup
- Maintain an exhaustive inventory of equipment and equipment condition
- Other duties may apply
Applicant must have appropriate certifications or experience to deal knowledgeably with electronic sound and lighting equipment.
This is an annual contract and is reviewed/evaluated at the end of the school year by the district administration, facilities coordinator and building maintenance supervisor.
