To be considered for this role you will need to be able to work on site in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

• As General Manager you will report directly to the Divisional Managing Director for BES Asset Reliability and oversee the entire Manufacturing site in Cowes.
• Ensure all operational employees within the Production and Equipment sub-division conduct their daily tasks safely and professionally and to the complete satisfaction of our customers.
• Provide day to day leadership and operational support to 7 direct reports.
• Motivate and engage teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Set and deliver the P&L budget.
• Work closely with the sales team in the development of new products and customer propositions.
• Contribute to the costing and pricing of customer bids and tender responses.
• Ensure customer demand is correctly planned, resourced (people, materials, equipment and transport) and delivered to the required cost, quality and timeline.
• Maintain and develop all safety, risk and quality management systems.
• Manage and improve all aspects of financial and operational performance through a suite of cost, quality and service delivery KPIs.

• Salary from £80,000, negotiable depending on experience

• Experience of leading technical teams including engineering design, production and software support.
• A proven background in developing operational processes, technologies and people.
• Experience managing budgets, P&L and cash management.
• A technical background in bespoke manufacturing, ideally electro-mechanical solution design or bespoke manufacturing.
