Senior Specialist - Compound Engineer

• Ensure on time implementation of new compounds in our manufacturing landscape in Vietnam, Indonesia and China.
• Evaluate raw material source (lead time, supply chain, quality and cost) of existing and new compounds to ensure production feasibility.
• Audit suppliers to ensure our compound SOPs are applied at any time.
• Manage problem solving for existing and new production related to compounding and chemical.
• Support quality team in the manufacturing process audit, to ensure the right compound & chemicals are being used with the right process.
• Support costing team in compound costing negotiation.

• 5 years or more of experience in compound development.
• Polymer science degree Bachelor minimum.
• A willingness to travel (Within Vietnam, Indonesia and occasionally Switzerland).
• Fluent in English, other languages such as Mandarin and Vietnamese are a plus.
• Strong experience with chemical foaming, supercritical foaming, rubber compounds.
