Merchandising Assistant Manager – Dollar Tree Stores

Join our store leader team to drive merchandising excellence and create positive community experiences.

• Assist the store manager and associate team with daily store operations.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and manage store cash.
• Protect company assets and maintain store and stockroom to company standards.
• Process corporate directives (Pull-Hold, Task Compliance, Key Survey).
• Clean and restock bathrooms, sweep floors, take out trash and keep the store neat.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with professional customer interactions.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise and manage freight flow.
• Plan and maintain merchandise displays such as Clip Strips and Power Panels to ensure sales effectiveness.
• Support sales floor effectiveness.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs. up to shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to work in a high‑energy team environment required.
