Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience for an inpatient assignment requiring WA OT license and EPIC proficiency.

• Inpatient acute therapy unit
• Day shift, Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, 13-week contract
• Care for patients across Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU
• Potential floating to both Auburn and Covington locations
• EPIC EMR system experience required
• No on-call requirements
• Primary responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning in an acute care setting
• Emphasis on therapy for Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU populations
• Highly collaborative team environment
• Scrub color is flexible or business casual; no open-toed shoes permitted
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
• At least two supervisory references are required prior to start

• Active WA state Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient acute care experience
• BLS or CPR certification required, BLS preferred
• Demonstrated acute care evaluation and treatment skills for diverse diagnoses, ages, and populations
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Excellent collaboration and clear communication skills
