Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Manage Perishable Departments including Produce, Fresh Meat, Packaged Meats, and Dairy, Frozen Food, Bread, and Thaw and Sell Bakery products;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using order guides and sales history;
Assist in training associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe handling of perishable products;
Assist in scheduling coverage and assess work completion with associates;
Record perishable markdowns and ensure sanitation standards and cleaning schedules are followed
