Vital Medical Staffing is looking for dependable, compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our PRN team. This position is ideal for nurses who value flexibility, communicate well, and take pride in showing up when patients and facilities truly need support.
About the roleWe partner with hospitals, long-term care facilities, behavioral health settings, and clinics. Because of that, no two shifts look exactly the same. Many of our assignments are PRN and last-minute coverage needs, so we re looking for nurses who are reliable, adaptable, and comfortable stepping into different environments while maintaining excellent patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide safe, professional nursing care within your scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, document care accurately, and communicate clearly with facility staff.
- Work independently when needed while collaborating with the care team and following each facility s policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate reliability by showing up on time, prepared, and ready to work; maintain clear communication with the staffing team when accepting or declining shifts and report concerns during an assignment.
- Active and valid RN license
- Current TB test
- Active CPR/BLS certification (in-person/instructor-led; online-only certifications are not accepted)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Compassion for patients and a genuine heart for healthcare
- Ability to work PRN and accept last-minute shifts when available
