Distribution Construction Manager

Job location is southern Louisiana and Per Diem is available for travel.

We are seeking seven skilled Construction Managers to oversee the Resiliency Program in the Greater New Orleans area. This role involves driving subcontractor performance and leading teams to build distribution systems throughout New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring overall production and quality of the job while managing a team of up to 25 individuals.

• Drive and oversee subcontractor performance.
• Lead subcontractor and internal crews in building distribution systems.
• Ensure overall production and quality of the job and the crew.
• Manage a team of upwards of 25 people at a time.
• Ensure construction subcontractors execute work according to safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements.
• Facilitate proper communication with the project team and stakeholders.
• Conduct standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings.

• Substation Construction Management expertise.
• Distribution Construction Management experience.
• Proficiency in electrical distribution and power delivery.
• Experience in construction document management and QA/QC.

• Entergy project experience is a plus.
• Knowledge in transmission, safety, electrical, and project management construction.
• Strong computer and reporting skills.

The work schedule includes 10-hour workdays for 5 days, with 7 days of per diem. Future project work is a viable option due to the company's growing footprint within Entergy and other utilities. Holidays and PTO are offered. The project will last for a year, primarily in the field, coordinating the work of subcontractor crews, with hours generally exceeding 50 per week.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Covington, LA.
