Efficient Automotive Equipment Solutions (EAES) is growing—and we’re looking for motivated, relationship‑driven Sales Consultants to expand our presence across key territories. If you enjoy building trusted partnerships, solving real operational challenges, and helping automotive shops thrive, this is the opportunity for you. This role is field‑based within your assigned territory. You’ll travel to customer locations, return home each evening, and collaborate closely with both clients and the EAES team.
Locations:- Cleveland / Toledo
- Columbus & Central Ohio
- Cincinnati & Surrounding Area
- Indiana and West Virginia – if you are interested in these territories, we welcome your interest; however, we are not yet staffing those territories.
For the past five years, EAES has helped independent auto shops and dealerships succeed by offering high‑quality equipment solutions that improve workflow, productivity, and profitability. Our mission is simple:

- Comprehensive Training: 90-day onboarding program in Nashville and Toronto (passport required).
- Independence:
Be fully trained and selling by July 1. - Local Travel:
Work within your territory and be home every night. - Impact:
Help businesses solve real problems and improve profitability. - Base rate of $45 k ($1,875 per pay, 24 pays per year). This will start immediately on the first day of working and will remain the base pay.
- Commission is 3% on $0–$1,000,000 in sales (or up to $30 k), 4% on $1,000,001–$2,100,000 in sales (or up to $84 000), and 5% on sales over $2,100,001.
- After 120 days training and ramp up, the sales people will have targets of a minimum of $2,100,000 ($175,000 per month).
- Develop and grow a sales territory from the ground up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shop technicians, managers, and owners.
- Learn, understand, and confidently present our equipment solutions.
- Analyze shop operations—profit margins, labor costs, workflow—and recommend equipment that improves efficiency.
- Maintain accurate prospect and customer data using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with customers on shop layouts and installation planning.
- Negotiate pricing and deal structures with confidence.
- Work independently, managing schedules flexibly beyond a traditional 9–5, as needed.
- 3+ years of territory development, sales, or related experience.
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship‑building skills.
- Understanding of business operations, finances, and decision‑making.
- Self‑starter who thrives in independent, flexible work environments.
- Willingness to travel locally within assigned territory.
- Ability to learn and apply technical equipment details quickly.
- Automotive repair experience preferred but not required. We can train you!
- Sales experience in or near the automotive industry.
- Regular driving between customer sites.
- Frequent communication in busy shop environments.
- Exposure to typical automotive shop noise, dust, and temperature changes.
