DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on families and loved ones by assisting the funeral team with transportation, attending services, and maintaining the facility. Under the supervision of a licensed Funeral Director, you will learn the industry, gain experience, and work toward a career in death care.
The Impact You Will Make- Funeral Home upkeep, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning.
- Assisting in funeral services and visitation by greeting visitors, coordinating pallbearers, and arranging transport and parking.
- Transporting individuals with extreme care.
- Performing all other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in client relations, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
- A strong desire to start a career in mortuary science/end-of-life planning.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong concentration and attention to detail for extended periods.
- Capability to occasionally stand/walk and frequently lift or push.
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
