Credence has an upcoming need for a Program Manager SME to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) M‑Code Aviation Receiver (MAR) Joint Program Office (JPO) at Wright Patterson AFB.

The AFLCMC M‑Code Aviation Receiver (MAR) Joint Program Office manages systems that provide precise positioning, navigation, and timing information to a variety of Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems, including but not limited to Software Defined User Equipment (SDUE), Miniaturized Airborne GPS Receiver (MAGR) 2000, Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (EGI), Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR), GPS Antenna System 1 (GAS‑1), Advanced Digital Antenna Production System (ADAP), GPS Antennas, Antenna Electronics (AE), Resilient Embedded GPS/INS (R‑EGI), Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE), Air Force Vanguard Transition programs, and alternative navigation capabilities.

Some systems are in initial development while others undergo significant modernization to respond to new threats, improve supportability, resiliency, and adopt open‑architecture standards and digital engineering best practices.

This opening is slated to kick off in May 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior advisor and subject matter expert to the MAR JPO on program management best practices, policies, and execution strategies
  • Provide expert guidance across the full system life cycle, including requirements development, acquisition planning, development, test, production, fielding, and sustainment
  • Support Program Managers in planning, executing, and controlling cost, schedule, and performance for MAR programs
  • Advise on Air Force, DoD, and AFLCMC acquisition policies, processes, and milestone requirements
  • Assist in development and review of acquisition strategies, program baselines, and program documentation (e.g., SEP, APB, IMS, risk registers)
  • Identify program risks, issues, and opportunities; recommend mitigation strategies and corrective actions
  • Support stakeholder coordination across government, joint partners, industry, and other DoD organizations
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for program trade studies and decision briefs
  • Support execution of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process in coordination with financial and acquisition teams
  • Assist with contract execution oversight, including performance monitoring and issue resolution
  • Support preparation for program reviews, milestone decisions, audits, and senior leader briefings
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior program managers and integrated product teams (IPTs)
  • Ensure program activities align with PNT, NAVWAR, and M‑Code modernization objectives across supported DoD weapon systems
Requirements
  • Holds an active Top Secret clearance
  • Holds PMP or APDP Level 3 certification
  • In‑depth knowledge of Multi‑GNSS programs and PWS tasks
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in DoD acquisition
  • Or bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in DoD acquisition
  • Or, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in DoD acquisition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
